The links at the bottom of this page download a zip file that contains an installer program for installation of US Airspace maps in Garmin MapSource™.  The installer program will work only on Windows computers.  There is a version for either color screen or monochrome devices.

WARNING:  If problems occur during this process, it is possible that your MapSource™ installation and all associated maps will be rendered unusable.  Before proceeding, be certain that you have the ability to reinstall MapSource™ and all of your maps from their original distributions.

Installation Instructions:

1. Consider updating MapSource™ to the most recent version.  The Airspace maps may not work with installations prior to 2008.
   
   
2. Download the zip file and place it in a convenient location on your computer.
3. Right-click the zip file and extract the contents to a permanent location
   .
4. Open the extracted folder and find install.exe.  On Vista or Windows 7, right-click it and select “Run as Administrator”.  On Windows XP, simply double-click it
   .
5. Run MapSource™ to install the US Airspace map in your GPS.  Follow the Garmin instructions in the same way as for other maps.

De-installation Instructions:

1. Make sure MapSource™ is not running.
   
   
2. Open the extracted folder and find uninstall.exe.  On Vista ,Windows 7 or Windows 10, right-click it and select “Run as Administrator”.  On Windows XP, simply double-click.
